On 6 and 7 May, international partners from France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Austria gathered in Modena, Italy, for the second project meeting.During the two-day event, productive discussions were held and the next steps were agreed upon.
The partnership is highly committed and plans to carry out numerous local and international activities in the coming months.A documentary and a field research study were conducted on policies, good practices and experiences relating to the ageing of people with disabilities. Several interviews were also conducted with professionals, informal carers and people with disabilities. Based on these findings, a competence framework will be developed to inform a training programme for professionals and informal carers.
The programme aims to innovate services for people with disabilities and older people in response to the evolving needs of an ageing population.Much has already been achieved within the GOLD project, and there is still more to be done.
The partners are committed to continuing to work together to develop practical tools and solutions that can improve the lives of ageing people with disabilities.Discover more: https://gold-project.eu/#GOLD_EU_PROJECT
